Lyalya Sateyeva

Biography

Varvara (Lyalya) Sergeevna Sateeva was born in Moscow into a musical family. Her maternal grandfather and great-grandfather served as church choristers. Mother Lidiya Ivanovna Yukhova-Sateeva was a soloist in the choir under the direction of her brother Ivan Ivanovich Yukhov, who voiced about 70 Soviet films of the 1930s.
