Biography

Annie Shi (June 20, 1968 -) is a Taiwanese actor, host, and singer. Her ancestral home is Zhutang Township, Lancang County, Yunnan Province, and she belongs to the Lahu ethnic group. In 1983, she participated in the Taiwan Television Company's 8 o'clock Mandarin TV series "The Stars Know My Heart" and became a household name by playing the role of the eldest daughter "Xiu Xiu". She married Filipino-American Jonathan Choi in October 1992 and currently lives in the United States.
