Natalya Zhuravleva greatly values her country house in the village of Ozernoye, which was built by her great-grandfather. Now her parents and sister Katya live there. Natalya comes to visit them with good news: she is marrying Yuri, who courted her for ten long years. Meanwhile, disturbing rumors are spreading throughout the village. They say that a highway will pass in the place of Ozernoye, and many houses will have to be demolished, including the “family nest” of the Zhuravlevs. Natalya works in a construction company and took part in the creation of this project herself.
